Mommy Life with My New iPhone - Chapter One

In mid-November 2009, I finally bought my first hand-held device: my very own iPhone 3GS to replace the antique flip cell phone and Powerbook combo I've been using for more years than I probably should have.

The good news is that I've learned so much more than I thought I would about how to use it. In fact I already am proficient at such basics as power on, off, and put in sleep mode -- which is pretty amazing since I am technologically-challenged and didn't even know how to turn one of these things on before I owned one. Now, I'm starting to gain confidence by integrating my new best friend into my crazy busy life of Mommy Blogging, Homeschooling, and being a Wife & Mother and already, I'm happy to report, I'm getting pretty good at making and receiving phone calls and also surfing the Internet and checking/answering emails when away from my desktop. The even better news is my in-house IT director is my teen son who is in 9th Grade who has helped me every step of the way.

I'll continue to add chapters to Mommy Life with My New iPhone as time permits.  But, since I'm a Mommy first and foremost, I must go make dinner now and feed my kids and DH.
