Christmas
Contemporary Home Style
The anticipation of Thanksgiving signals that wonderful time of the year. It's time to start getting ready for the holidays and entertaining. With all the hustle and bustle, for most of you celebrating Christmas that means it's time to start thinking specifically about one of the most festive traditions of the holiday: your Christmas tree.
MBE partnered with Modern Christmas Trees for this post
Sure you could do the same thing you do every year: either cut down a live tree that leaves pine needles on the floor or assemble a bulky artificial tree with unwieldily foldable branches. But why bother with any of those hassles when you could try something easier, new and really different? Instead consider one of these futuristic sleek acrylic Modern Christmas Trees you, your family and friends will enjoy for years to come.
Originally handmade by engineer, architect and designer Lawrence 'Bud' Stoecker in the mid-1960s, the mid-century modern and contemporary tree idea was nearly lost forever. Luckily in 2012, Matt Bliss revived his grandfather's Christmas tree concept by patenting Stoecker's design and launching the company's website ModernChristmasTrees.com.
As you can see from the photos illustrating this post, these joyful modern tree designs fit any style home or apartment and are a wonderful way to display your holiday ornament collection.
Absolutely captivating and enchanting -- like a grand piano's sound filling a room with sound -- the light and presence of these elegant modernistic Christmas trees will illuminate the holidays in the hearts and minds across the generations, including everyone from children and older kids to adults and elders.
The best part is that all the beautiful Modern Christmas Trees designs are built to last for many years of enjoyment. What's more is that they are destined to become heirlooms to be passed down in the family for generations to come.
Each Modern Christmas Tree is constructed of durable and lightweight acrylic. The tree is offered in a choice of Ruby Red, Emerald Green, Crystal Clear, Pearl White, and Sapphire Blue and in available in three different sizes Large, a Half tree that hands on the wall, and Small tabletop Jubilee. I think those trees are cool, but I am very traditional when it comes to MY tree. I like a real one in my house :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a really interesting looking tree! It is pretty in it's own way. I knew a few people that would LOVE this tree!
ReplyDeleteWhile this tree is cool, I love the warmth of a traditional tree. The warmth, love, and feelings seem to be void in this tree despite the coolness factor.

ReplyDeleteI don't think I could part with my traditional tree BUT I do think a modern tree would be gorgeous as an addition to my decor for Christmas. I love how unique they look.Just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteVery cool ideas! If you have a modern style, those would be really neat. Not sure I could give up my traditional tree though!
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's a tree that I would do in my house since it's not modern enough. With that said I LOVE how they look and think they would look so cool with the right decor. - Sarah, Must Have Mom
