Twitter Chat
It's a scary thought for every mother and father to contemplate. According to AT&T's Teen Driver Survey, 97% of teens agree texting while driving is dangerous, yet 43% do it anyway.
Some of the other 11 related facts the organization Do Something lists on their site about Teen Texting and Driving are equally shocking
- Teens who text while driving spend 10% of their time on the road out of their lane
- Texting makes a crash 23 times more likely to occur
- According to 77% of teens, adults tell them not to text or check email while driving, yet adults do it themselves "all the time"
