8 Free Dog Friendly Apps
Being a pet parent these days is easier and better than ever thanks to the plethora of apps available that improve the quality of life we humans have with our dogs. In fact as I've gotten to use and know my Sony Xperia 3Zv smartphone I've also discovered quite a few great Android apps all rated 4+ stars for likeminded animal lovers that I just have to share with you.
Apps Enhancing Life for You and Your Pet
Dog Breeds
Thinking of getting a dog or just want to learn everything there is to know about your dog breed of choice? Then try this app and you'll have access to hundreds of dog breeds and high resolution images. For Android
Dog Sounds Ringtones
This is the app for dog lovers who can't get enough of canines. You'll have your pick of around 18 different dog and puppy sounds to choose from to download to your smartphone to use as a ring tone, alarm clock and more. For Android
Cute Dogs Jigsaw Puzzle
Here's one that will keep dog-loving children busy for hours. Comes with a huge assortment of 20 different puzzles to solve with 9 to 100 pieces so it grows as the kids do. For Android
Dog Licks Screen Video Wallpaper
This one is too cute not to check out and is a personal favorite of mine for my Sony Xperia Z3v smartphone. With all the licking action, believe it or not this will not affect your phone's battery life. For Android
Dog Health
Because owning and caring for a dog isn't all fun and games, this app is essential. Keep all the details about your four-legged friend's health in one place such as vaccination records and your animal's personal data such as name, weight, birthdate, and embedded chip info. Also use to find and contact the nearest veterinarian. For Android
Can Dogs Eat
What dog doesn't beg for some human food now and then? This app is your resource to tap to find out whether or not a particular food is safe to feed your animal. Currently listing 470+ human foods and drinks that are labeled safe, caution or not safe. For Android
Dog Park Buddy
People have Facebook and Twitter to be social with each other, so why shouldn't dogs and their pet parents have a way interact online with their own kind? With this app you can build a community centered around your neighborhood dog park to do everything from coordinating dog park play dates and keeping track of doggie friend birthdays to posting and sharing photos and messaging each other privately.
