Prior to its release on the big screen last year, I was invited to cover a press event for Walking With Dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum of L.A. County. Now I'm back to tell you about the newly released family friendly Blu-ray and DVD that's now available for home viewing. There's also a new giveaway just posted for you to enter for a chance to win this wonderful video.

Here's a movie that kids will watch again and again into and beyond summer -- discovering something new and fascinating each time it is viewed. Not only is this video entertaining for both children and parent, it is fully immersive thanks to the advanced 3D technology that was used to create realistic looking dinos based on the BBC's paleontologist world experts.

Walking With Dinosaurs is loaded with interactive features and fun, bringing education about the Jurassic Period to new heights. Simply put it is widely regarded as the most realistic motion picture ever made about the magnificent dinosaurs that walked the Earth 70 million years ago.

Directed by Barry Cook (Mulan, Arthur Christmas) and Neil Nightingale (Meerkats: The Movie), this fantastic computer generated animated feature showcases the talent and voices of John Leguizamo (Ice Age, Rio 2), Justin Long (Alvin and the Chipmunks, Dodgeball), Karl Urban (Star Trek) and others.

What a thrill it was for me to meet and talk with some of the Walking With Dinosaurs actors including John Leguizamo, Skyler Stone and Tiya Sircar prior to the movie's theatrical opening in December.
