Having just finished reading the New York Times #1 Best Seller by Markus Zusak that The Book Thief screenplay is based on I must say that it is one of the best books I've read in years.

Simply stated, this movie's inspirational premise centers around hope, courage and a girl named Liesel struggling to live among the horrors of 1939 Nazi Germany. This once illiterate young lady deeply touches the lives of just about everyone she encounters -- both her peers and adults -- through her love of books and story telling.

As a self-proclaimed lover of great literature myself, I can hardly wait to see this intriguing plot unfold and brought to life on screen.
