That's four Emmy's for four years in a row! To celebrate those kudos as well as today's release of Modern Family - Season 4 on Blu-ray and DVD, you're invited to join me on the Santa Monica Pier -- where Route 66 dead ends into the Pacific Ocean. The free public special event, orchestrated by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, starts at 11 a.m. and runs till 5 p.m. today, Tuesday, September 24th.

Among the memorable props in Modern Family are Phil Dunphy's bus bench ads -- maybe you've already seen these benches popping up all around town. Bet you didn't know, though, there are actually 245 Phil benches all over Los Angeles County this very minute! Come to today's event and you'll get to see how Fox brings that iconic inanimate object to life with you "guest starring" opposite Claire and Phil Dunphy.

The Modern Family area at the Santa Monica Pier is located west of the Playland Arcade, before the police station. The specially staged area includes a bench as well as Claire and Phil Dunphy cardboard cut outs for fans to take and share pictures of themselves on the actual release date.
