Strawberry Moon TONITE! 1st Full Moon on Summer Solstice since 1967
As a Baby Boomer I'll never forget where I was when man first walked on the moon in July 1969: I was on a family roadtrip spending the night in Minot, North Dakota. It was on that day that the late Astronaut Neil Armstrong said those unforgettable words, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Words generations of school children have repeated countless times since.

Back in those days of 10 cent newspapers, who could have imagined that virtual reality technology would be accessible to all us consumers in 2016 -- not only to astronauts and scientists? Face forward to all the modern advances in technology we enjoy today. That's why I'm so excited to tell you all about the Samsung Phone + Gear VR bundle Father's Day special now available at Best Buy.
What is Virtual Reality?
Simply explained, virtual reality (VR) is a recently developed technology making it possible for every day people like you and I to enjoy various sensory experiences and virtually travel to faraway places anywhere we want, even to the Moon and other planets. All this is happening without either of us ever going anywhere, simply by wearing a specially-enabled pair of goggles. VR today is used in many different ways for consumers as entertainment and to have fun (gaming, experiential movie viewing and virtual travel are just a few examples) and is no longer limited to medicine, science, business and other fields of work. Just imagine: this year, if you give the Samsung VR bundle as a Father's Day gift to Dad or Grand Dad, thing of all the fun he will have. How about that Safari trip that is on his dream bucket list, but he is too frail to travel that far? With the Samsung VR bundle, along with various virtual reality content purchased separately, he can do all those things and much more.

If Neil Armstrong were still alive today, don't you wonder what he would have to say about the virtual reality people now have access to? I wouldn't be surprised if he repeated that iconic statement that he will be forever remembered by.
